About Us
Family owned for over 60 years, the Kukkakauppa Flower Shop was founded by the Nissula Family. Four owners later, the shop is owned and operated by Dale and Jenifer Burkhouse.
Both Dale and Jen studied under Ardith Bevridge, AIFD, at Koehler and Dramm Floral School in Minneapolis, MN. They pride themselves on customized arrangements and great customer service.
Many days you can see various members of the family helping in the store, from customer service to watering plants, stocking shelves, shoveling snow off the roof, creating window displays, and designing arrangements.
